Anuj Dal top-scored with an unbeaten 78 on his return to the side, while fellow all-rounder Matt Critchley hit 63 as Derbyshire declared on 300-7 late in the day, earning three batting bonus points.

Added to two first innings bowling points, Derbyshire took 13 points from the draw to remain top of the Bob Willis Trophy North Group ahead of a trip to Emirates Riverside to face Durham, starting on Saturday 22 August.
