Derby’s best fireworks display returns to The OurCoop County Ground this November.
Our Fireworks Night is getting a new look for 2026 – Fireworks Weekend!
This year, we’re bringing you two evenings of Fireworks Night at The OurCoop County Ground, giving you the choice of when you join us.
With ongoing ground improvement works, the event will have a more intimate, mainly seated format this year, with a limited capacity.

Ticket+ includes: Entry to the event and Fun Fair, as well as exclusive access to The Pavilion with an indoor private bar, private toilets and an elevated balcony view of the fireworks display.
Gates open from 4pm, with plenty to see and do around The County Ground prior to the start of the fireworks display, including the popular Fun Fair. The ground will close at 9.30pm.
The fireworks display is scheduled to start at approximately 7pm.
The best and cheapest way to secure a ticket to Derbyshire's popular Fireworks Weekend is to buy online.
However, a limited number of tickets will be available on the gate, to purchase on the night of the event.
The County Ground is a cashless venue meaning that all ticket entry gates will be card/contactless payment only.
All Fun Fair rides and food units, which are operated by an outside company, are cash only and there are no cash machines on site at The County Ground. The nearest cash machine is located at the Texaco Garage off Pentagon Island.
Derbyshire County Cricket Club advises all visitors to bring cash and cashless methods of payment on the night.
All available seating will be unreserved. Due to ongoing ground works the grassed area is out of use and visitors are encouraged to make use of seated facilities available. There will also be an area of standing space between the Grandstand and the Fun Fair.
The Fun Fair will be open from 4pm and will close at 9.30pm.
The display can go ahead in rain, however strict regulations are in place for extreme weather and high winds. In instances of extreme weather, checks will be made on the night before a decision can be made.

Fireworks and sparklers are not permitted to be brought into the venue.
Dogs will not be allowed into the ground for this event.
The County Ground will close at 9.30pm.
Children under the age of 5 will be granted admission to the event free-of charge and do not require a ticket. Junior tickets apply to ages 6-15.
A limited number of Car Park spaces are available to pre-book online.
We advise visitors to plan their journey in advance to allow time getting into the venue.
Please respect our neighbours and do not block driveways on nearby streets, or attempt to park in resident-only areas.
All car parks will be stewarded.
