Book our Sensory Room, in partnership with The Whistle Foundation, now for your upcoming visit to The Central Co-op County Ground.
The room, located on the ground floor Pavilion, will provide a safe space for supporters with sensory issues and is now available to be pre-booked by filling in the form below.
Derbyshire have consulted with charities, as well as other industry-leading sports clubs, when designing and installing the Sensory Room, with several fibre-optic light fittings, 3D wall features, soft seating and more included.
There will be a capacity of four people, accompanied by a carer, at any time, to ensure the room remains a calm and enjoyable space for those who need it. While there is no time limit on bookings, time slots may be apportioned for games with more bookings, to ensure all bookings can be facilitated.
This addition is part of Derbyshire’s ongoing commitment to making The Central Co-op County Ground the most accessible venue in English cricket, which has seen the installation of wheelchair viewing bays, improved accessible toilets and a multi-faith room in recent years.
To book the Sensory Room, you must have already purchased a match or event ticket. The facility will be available to those who have not pre-booked, subject to pre-bookings, capacity and the Sensory Room Policy.
