No play was possible in Derbyshire’s Vitality Blast opener against Leicestershire Foxes at the Fischer County Ground.
Rain was the eventual winner in Leicester, with Dominic Cork’s Falcons taking a point from the abandoned match and now turning their attention to the match against Yorkshire on Sunday.
Derbyshire will face Yorkshire on Sunday, before also taking on Lancashire on Monday at Emerald Headingley in a Bank Holiday Weekend double-header.
