Lancashire friendly now a four-day fixture

Derbyshire’s pre-season friendly against Lancashire, starting on Monday 29 March, will now be a four-day fixture. 

The match, which will see Dave Houghton’s squad travel to Emirates Old Trafford, has been extended by two days as both squads build match fitness ahead of the 2021 campaign.

The fixture will now end on Thursday 2 April, two days before the visit of Cardiff MCCU to Derbyshire, starting on Saturday 3 April at The Incora™ County Ground.

Derbyshire’s first pre-season matches of 2021 take place from Thursday 25 – Friday 26 March, with squads made up of first team and Academy prospects facing Yorkshire in Derby and Leicestershire at the Uptonsteel County Ground.
