Harvey Hosein top-scored for Derbyshire with 63, his fourth-straight half-century, before the visitors were all out for 267, still 208 behind Durham’s first innings total.

The hosts opted against enforcing the follow-on, instead declaring on 175-2, setting Derbyshire (10-0) a target of 384 on the final day, after Luis Reece and Tom Wood survived a tricky five-over spell before the end of the third day.
