Tears for Fears to perform at The Incora County Ground

Legendary pop duo Tears for Fears will perform live at The Incora County Ground on Tuesday 12 July.

One of the most iconic bands of the 80’s, Tears for Fears have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and can call on a stunning back catalogue containing classic hits such as “Shout,” “Everybody Wants To Rule The World,” “Mad World,” “Sowing The Seeds Of Love,” and “Woman In Chains”.

The pair will be joined in Derby by fellow 80’s legend Alison Moyet, whose albums ‘Alf’ and ‘Raindancing’, which contained the hit single ‘Is This Love?’, each achieved platinum certification in the UK.

The concert will round off a huge week of live music in Derby, as international superstar Michael Buble performs live on Saturday 9 July.

The Incora County Ground has become one of the region’s major concert venues, with Elton John and Little Mix each having performed in front of sold-out crowds in recent years.

Chief Executive, Ryan Duckett, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Tears for Fears and Alison Moyet to The Incora County Ground. This marks another huge step forward for us as a multi-purpose events venue in the heart of Derby and scheduled just a few days after we will have hosted Michael Bublé, it promises to be a great week for music and events in the city.

“After what has been a challenging 18 months for us all it is great we are able to host these type of events again with this announcement coming one week after the return of our sold-out Fireworks Night & Fun Fair. It’s brilliant for our local community to have huge stars on their doorstep, and we’re looking forward to putting on another great event for the city and wider region to enjoy.”
