New kit to launch Samurai rebrand

Derbyshire’s new 2022 kit, set to launch early next year, will be the first professional sports apparel released with Samurai Sportswear’s new logo. 

Leading sportswear company, Samurai Sportswear, have manufactured the Club’s on-field and training wear since 2016, bringing a fresh and modern look across all formats, while retaining Derbyshire’s storied heritage.

Inspired by the spirit and determination of the 1995  Japanese Rugby World Cup team, Samurai’s new logo reflects courage, dedication, integrity and purity. The core values that define the brand. Their slogan of ‘Push Forward’ is fitting, as Derbyshire prepare for a new era under Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur.

Samurai have worked with the Club to create unique designs for our LV= County Championship, Royal London Cup and Vitality Blast kits, as well as a huge range of stylish leisurewear.

When the side take to the field in April 2022, it will mark the first occasion that Samurai’s new branding has been worn by a professional sports team.
