Derbyshire will continue their preparations for the 2022 season against LV= County Championship Division One side Lancashire in a two-day friendly, beginning on Thursday 24 March at 12pm (Day One only).
The red-ball encounter will be the first time Derbyshire have played on home soil under new Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, and will provide crucial time in the middle ahead of the new campaign, which begins at Lord’s against Middlesex on Thursday 7 April.
It was announced last week that Derbyshire will also host Nottinghamshire in a pre-season friendly at The Incora County Ground, starting on Tuesday 29 March; 10.30am.
Entry to both of Derbyshire’s home friendlies will be free, while further information regarding facilities and gate opening times will be confirmed in due course.
