England announce two Incora County Ground IT20s

England return to The Incora County Ground this summer two explosive Twenty20 fixtures against South Africa and India.

Derby has become a happy hunting ground for Heather Knight’s side in recent times, with England unbeaten across all formats since 2017 at the venue, including six victories in the last two years.

The international calendar at The Incora County Ground kicks off against South Africa on Monday 25 July, before India, along with number-one-ranked batter Shafali Verma, travel to Derby on Tuesday 13 September.

England are currently ranked as the second-best T20 side in the world, with spinner Sophie Ecclestone and Derbyshire-born all-rounder, Sarah Glenn, the top-two bowlers in the format.

Glenn starred the last time England played in T20 cricket at The Incora County Ground, claiming Player of the Series in the 5-0 victory over the West Indies in 2020, after taking seven wickets at an average of 12.

Last year, it was captain Heather Knight who stole the show, with a stunning century t0 win the ODI series against New Zealand, and she will be looking to lead from the front once again against formidable opposition in 2022.

2022 Members should note that these fixtures are included in their Membership package and are not required to claim a ticket.
