Yorkshire at Chesterfield: Register for Coach Transport

The Royal London Cup is back next month and Derbyshire return to Chesterfield to face Yorkshire in one-day cricket.

Ahead of the fixture, which takes place on Sunday 21 August (11am) and is proving popular among ticket-buyers, the Club has opened a registration of interest form to gauge the feasibility of coach transport from The Incora County Ground to Chesterfield.

Further spectator travel details are listed below.

Parking

A limited amount of on-site parking is available to purchase online, priced at £8. Click HERE to purchase parking. There are also various council-owned car parking sites available close to the venue:

  • Holywell Cross pay and display car park; S40 1UT

  • Pay and display sites – North and South either side of the ground; S40 2ND.
  • Small Queen’s Park annex car park at Boythorpe Avenue / Park Road; S40 2QE. This is a pay and display car park.

Public Transport

The Comet bus service does not run on Sundays, however at the time of writing, East Midlands Rail services are scheduled to run.

The 09.45am departure from Derby is due to arrive in Chesterfield at 10.02am, while there are numerous return trains scheduled after the close of play.

Edit 17.08.2022: The latest rail strike announcement means there will be no train services running from Derby to Chesterfield.

Coach Travel

Due to the potentially limited public transport options, the Club is assessing the feasibility of providing access to dedicated coach travel from The Incora County Ground to Queen’s Park on the day of the fixture.

Should there be sufficient demand from supporters, the Club will be in contact with those who registered to provide further details.

If you have purchased tickets, or are a Member wishing to travel by coach, please complete the short form below to register your interest.
