Shan Masood will miss Derbyshire’s LV= County Championship fixture at home to Durham in September due to selection for Balochistan in the National T20 competition in Pakistan.
As a player centrally-contracted by the Pakistan Cricket Board, the top-order batter will join-up with the Balochistan squad ahead of their opening fixture on 1 September and will be aiming to continue the T20 form which saw him score 555 runs in this summer’s Vitality Blast, including five half-centuries.
The 32-year-old is set to return to Derbyshire for the Club’s final two LV= County Championship fixtures in September.
