Second XI fixture rescheduled

Derbyshire’s Second XI Championship fixture against Nottinghamshire at Belper Meadows will now start on Tuesday 20 September (10.30am), out of respect for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The fixture, which was initially rescheduled for late September at the request of Nottinghamshire, will be moved back a day further, so as not to clash with the funeral.

The match will also mark the end of Derbyshire’s Second XI Championship campaign, one which has given a number of Derbyshire’s promising pathway prospects the opportunity to learn alongside first-team players, such as Alex Hughes and Luis Reece.
