Derbyshire raises £1,350 for Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity

Derbyshire County Cricket Club raised £1,350 for Official Charity Partner, Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity, by auctioning one-off player-worn training shirts.  

The shirts, which were created by SAMURAI Sportswear and featured a unique design in support of Organ Donation Week, were worn by the Derbyshire players ahead of their final LV= County Championship fixture of the 2022 season in September.

The cheque was presented to Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity at their Annual Halloween Ball, held at The Incora County Ground.

The striking pink design aimed to raise awareness of the importance of organ donation, with the shirts proving popular among Members and sponsors alike.
