The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation (DCF) will host ‘An Evening with Mickey Arthur’ at The Incora County Ground on Tuesday 28th March.
‘An evening with Mickey Arthur’ will provide guests with an opportunity to ask questions ahead of the 2023 season and will be the first DCF fundraising event of the year take place in the Legends Lounge at the Incora County Ground.
The evening will involve a Q&A session with Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, as well as Derbyshire players, and promises to provide an insight into the targets and challenges for the 2023 season.
The event aims to generate funds to enable the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation to continue to grow its work by reaching into the heart of communities. The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation is a dedicated charity whose purpose is to Empower Communities and Improve Lives through Cricket.
40% of funds raised will go towards the DCF Access to Cricket fund which provides opportunities for more people to access opportunities to be involved in cricket. Grants are awarded to enable people to participate in playing the game or engaging in cricket education programmes. The remaining funds will help delivering projects to help put bats and balls into more hands within the heart of communities across Derbyshire.
Everyone registered to come to the event will be provided with refreshments (Buffet food and Teas/Coffees) and the bar will also be open for the evening.
