Blast Off: 10 days to go!

There are just ten days to go until Derbyshire kick off the 2023 T20 campaign with the historic Blast Off event!

2023 Vitality Blast is set to start in spectacular style with a new double-header fixture at Edgbaston Stadium that will see four teams compete across two matches.

On Saturday 20 May, the likes of Wayne Madsen, Haider Ali and George Scrimshaw are aiming to light up Edgbaston against Lancashire Lightning, before Birmingham Bears will host Yorkshire Vikings as part of a full day of T20 action. And with a capacity crowd, live music and fan entertainment, the atmosphere is set to rival the popular Finals Day.

Both fixtures are included in Derbyshire Membership, while the 2023 Blast Pass is on sale now, giving access to ten T20 matches for £109.

Blast Off 2023 fixtures:

Derbyshire Falcons vs Lancashire Lightning (2.30pm)
Birmingham Bears vs Yorkshire Vikings (6.30pm)

Vitality Blast 2023: Be Bold, Be Derbyshire

In 2023, every Derbyshire Falcons home T20 will be played on a Friday night, weekend or Bank Holiday, meaning it’s never been easier to follow the Falcons in the Vitality Blast.

2022 saw a Club-record number of T20 wins, coupled with the Best Domestic Spectator Experience to make the Falcons Vitality Blast campaign one of the best ever, and this year’s promises to be even bigger, with an enhanced food and drink range and added emphasis on accessibility.

Tickets are selling fast, with the clash with Yorkshire Vikings at Queen’s Park, the East Midlands Derby vs Notts Outlaws and the Monday 29 May Family Day gaining high interest from supporters, so don’t delay if you want to experience Mickey Arthur’s Falcons live this summer!
