Derbyshire fast bowler, Zak Chappell, has been chosen by Oval Invincibles as a wildcard pick for The Hundred this August.
Chappell claimed a Club-record 26 wickets during the Vitality Blast, the second-most of any player in the group stage and the most in the North Group, at an average of 18.03.
The tall quick, who joined the Club over the winter after spells with Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, becomes the fourth Derbyshire player to be picked for The Hundred in 2023, along with Leus du Plooy (Southern Brave), Wayne Madsen (Manchester Originals) and George Scrimshaw (Welsh Fire).
