Derbyshire sign Lloyd on loan for One Day Cup

Derbyshire have signed Glamorgan batter, David Lloyd, on loan for the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

Lloyd, who is Glamorgan’s Club Captain, has already agreed a three-year deal with Derbyshire, starting at the end of the current campaign, but now the experienced right-hander will have the chance to acquaint himself with his teammates and surroundings at The Incora County Ground in August.

The 31-year-old has scored 1,053 List A runs, including six half-centuries, as well as 21 wickets with best figures of 5-53 against Kent at Swansea in 2017.

He will be available for the entire 50-over competition, excluding when the two sides meet, starting with Tuesday’s fixture against Gloucestershire at Cheltenham, as Mickey Arthur’s side go in search of white ball success.

You can purchase tickets for all four of Derbyshire’s Metro Bank One Day Cup home games by clicking the links below.
