The Incora County Ground hosted two local league finals on Friday evening, with Alfreton lifting the Butterley Cup and Swarkestone claiming the OJ Jackson Cup.
The double-header kicked-off with Alfreton vs Clowne Town for the Butterley Cup – Sponsored by Belper Independent Financial Solutions, with Clowne Town winning the toss and fielding.
Ifran Mirza and Sam Walker each claimed two wickets, as Alfreton set 119-6 from their 100 balls, with Matthew New (30) top-scoring, before he also claimed 2-19 as Clowne Town were restricted to 112-4 in their reply.
The second final was for the OJ Jackson Cup – Sponsored by My Own Cop, as Ben Hutchinson claimed a hat-trick across two sets of five to finish with figures of 3-19 as Ockbrook and Borrowash posted 110-6, before former Derbyshire batter, Nils Priestley, scored a match-winning 50 from just 21 balls to chase down the target with 28 balls to spare.
