Wayne Madsen will be available for Derbyshire’s Metro Bank One Day Cup game against Worcestershire Rapids after being released by Manchester Originals.
Madsen has already featured in one List A game this season, making 65 in the game against Durham last week, and replaces David Lloyd, who misses the game through a rib injury.
Derbyshire’s second all-time leading run-scorer, Madsen will come straight into the squad for Friday’s fixture at The Incora County Ground, as Derbyshire look to make it back-to-back home wins.
