ECB sets out action to make cricket more inclusive following ICEC report

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has today published comprehensive details of further steps it will take to make cricket a more inclusive sport in response to the recent report by the Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket (ICEC).

Derbyshire County Cricket Club fully supports the ECB’s ambition for cricket to become the most inclusive team sport in England and Wales and today’s response sets out the progress being made across the game, as well as further work to be undertaken.

Derbyshire continues to deliver against its Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Action Plan, while the Club is working closely with the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation in its aim to inspire a generation to say ‘cricket is a game for me.’

The full response from the ECB can be found by clicking here.
The Club’s EDI Action Plan overview can be downloaded here.

The Club can be contacted confidentially and directly via [email protected], or alternatively individuals can use the independent reporting services set up by the England & Wales Cricket Board and the Professional Cricketers’ Association: [email protected] or [email protected].
