Derbyshire to face Cheshire in 50-over fixture

Derbyshire will face Cheshire at Nantwich on Sunday 21 July in a National Counties Showcase Fixture, starting at 11am. 

The fixture, which will provide Derbyshire’s squad with important time in the middle before the start of the Metro Bank One Day Cup, will be played at Nantwich Cricket Club’s ground on Whitehouse Lane, CW5 6HH.

Admission for the fixture will be free and parking will be provided on the practice ground at Nantwich CC, with additional parking just five minutes’ walk from the ground.

There is ample bench seating around the ground for spectators, while there is also space for those who wish to bring their own chairs to the game.

While entry for the fixture will be free, Nantwich will be running a raffle with plenty of excellent prizes, including Derbyshire memorabilia and more.

A number of Derbyshire’s first team players will be in action, as Mickey Arthur’s side look to earn a place in the XI for the Metro Bank One Day Cup opener against Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Wednesday 24 July.
