Derbyshire Falcons take on Durham at The County Ground this evening, knowing they must win and hope results elsewhere go their way to progress to the knockout stages.
The Falcons defeated Worcestershire Rapids last night, putting them into fifth place and just a point behind Leicestershire Foxes, who face Birmingham Bears in their final group game.
Derbyshire’s net run-rate currently stands and 0.183, better than any other side outside of the top two, and this could prove to be crucial if the Falcons are to qualify this evening.
Durham, Yorkshire Vikings and Leicestershire Foxes are all still in the mix, alongside the Falcons, and for Mickey Arthur’s side to qualify, the following must happen.
