Derbyshire wicketkeeper-batter, Brooke Guest, has signed a two-year contract extension with the Club.
Guest, 27, has been a mainstay of the Derbyshire starting XI since signing for the Club in 2020, scoring 4,665 all-formats runs and claiming 225 dismissals.
He has routinely been among Derbyshire’s leading run-scorers each season since joining the Club, passing 1,000 runs in each of the last three seasons.
Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, said: “Brooke is the kind of player every good team needs; he is an intelligent cricketer and someone who can manage situations, while also producing match-winning moments when required.
“He’s a top-class wicketkeeper and a quality batter about to enter his prime, so we’re delighted to extend his contract until 2027.”
Guest added: “I’ve been with Derbyshire for five years now and this Club has become a home to me. We have a great group of players, a world-class coaching team and great facilities, so it’s a no-brainer for me to stay.
“I want to keep developing and improving my game, we feel like we’re getting closer to success all the time and I’m excited to be a part of that.
