Pre-Match Pack: Northants (H)

Derbyshire Falcons have named a 14-player squad for their first home Vitality Blast fixture of the summer against Northants Steelbacks, which takes place at The Central Co-op County Ground  tomorrow (7pm). 

Wayne Madsen is in line to play his 200th game at The Central Co-op County Ground, becoming only the second player to achieve that landmark, while the T20 careers of Samit Patel and Ross Whiteley will also be celebrated on Wednesday night.

At the other end of the spectrum, 18-year-old Mohammad Ghazanfar made a successful start to life as a Falcon, claiming two wickets on debut against Leicestershire Foxes and will be aiming to make a similar impact at Derby.

Tickets are still on sale for the game now, with an exclusive drinks voucher for the first 500 spectators through the gates, which open from 5pm.

The Opposition

Northants Steelbacks have made a successful start to the Vitality Blast, winning each of their opening two fixtures.

Ben Sanderson and David Willey have each claimed six wickets, the joint-most in the competition, while Willey also has one half-century to his name. South Africa batter, Matthew Breetzke will play a big role if the visitors are to have success.
