Moore ruled out for remainder of the season

Derbyshire fast bowler, Harry Moore, has been ruled out for remainder of the 2025 season with a back stress fracture.

Moore, 18, has suffered a setback in his recovery from an injury initially sustained during the pre-season friendly against the South Asian Cricket Academy, after an intense winter working with England at Lions and Under 19s level, and will work closely with the Club’s Medical Team throughout the rest of the summer and the off-season.

The England Lions international, who is a graduate of the Cricket Derbyshire Academy, has made 13 appearances in all formats for Derbyshire, claiming 18 dismissals.

Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, said: “We’re obviously disappointed to be without Harry for the full summer, but our priority is to give him the best possible care and recovery time.

“Harry is a young player, he has time on his side, and we will work closely with him throughout his recovery, and hopefully we will see him back to his best next summer.”
