Falcons duo named in PCA Team of the Month

Falcons duo, Nye Donald and Mohammad Ghazanfar, have been named in the PCA Team of the Month for July. 

Donald was one of the standout batters in this year’s Vitality Blast, with 449 runs, six half-centuries, 31 sixes (most in the competition) and the highest strike-rate of any batter (216.9).

He equalled the record for the fastest Vitality Blast half-century of all-time, when he reached 50 in just 13 balls against Yorkshire at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield, in July.

Ghazanfar was the Falcons’ leading wicket-taker in the Vitality Blast, with 16 dismissals, and an economy rate of just 7.05 runs per over.

One-Day Cricket returns this August!

The Metro Bank One-Day Cup returns for the school holidays, with four huge Falcons home games coming up.

From a local derby against Notts Outlaws, to the Tap Takeover for the visit of Surrey, plus the return to Repton School to face Worcestershire Rapids and our Community Fixture against Essex, there’s so much action to enjoy this August!
