Derbyshire Academy seamer, Jake Green, has been selected to represent the Midlands at the upcoming Super Fours event at Loughborough.
The competition pits the best players from the region against sides from London & East, the North and South West, in a week-long tournament at the University.
Green claimed nine wickets at 14.89 in the Under 18s County T20 Cup, as well as recently helping the side into the Under-18s County One Day Cup – Plate Final.
The right-armer has impressed during his six Second XI appearances for the Club this year, as the pipeline of promising fast bowlers in the last few years from the Academy continues.
Green follows Derbyshire youngsters Tommy Bush, Theo Brown, Oscar Edwards, and his younger brother, Lucas, in representing Derbyshire at an ECB age group event this summer.
Congratulations Jake!
