Donald places third in 2025 PCA Vitality Blast MVP

Derbyshire batter, Aneurin Donald, finished third in the PCA’s 2025 Men’s Vitality Blast MVP table, after a stellar T20 campaign. 

Donald cemented his status as one of the Blast’s most destructive batters, striking more sixes (31) and passing 50 more times (6) than any other player in 2025.

The big-hitting batter, who also kept wicket for much of the competition, equalled the record for the fastest half-century in Vitality Blast history, taking just 13 balls to reach 50 against Yorkshire at Queen’s Park in July.

Donald finished in third place with 206.28 MVP points after scoring 449 runs at an astonishing strike-rate of 216.90. He finished only behind Northants Steelbacks skipper, David Willey, and Surrey’s Will Jacks.
