Pre-Match Pack: Middlesex (A)

Derbyshire Falcons have named a 13-player squad for next week’s Rothesay County Championship fixture against Middlesex at Lord’s, starting tomorrow (10.30am).

Division Two’s leading wicket-taker, Luis Reece, returns to the squad after recovering from the injury which kept him out of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup, while Nye Donald and captain Wayne Madsen are available after the conclusion of The Hundred, the latter of which in-line to play his 500th game for the county.

Overseas opener, Caleb Jewell, will return to Australia following next week’s Rothesay County Championship fixture against Middlesex, as per a new Cricket Australia (CA) regulation. He will be hoping to score the 60 runs needed to reach 1,000 in first-class cricket this season.

Rory Haydon and Amrit Basra are named in the squad after penning new deals with the Club and could make their first-class debuts at Lord’s.
