Derbyshire have partnered with Her Game Too, emphasising the message that cricket is a game for everyone.
Her Game Too Cricket – the cricket arm of Her Game Too – is a voluntary campaign which works to tackle sexism in sport and empower women and girls to get involved, through education, promoting inclusion and encouraging women and girls to participate in cricket in any capacity.
This is the Club’s latest step in making sure cricket in the county is for everyone, from various accessibility improvements at The Central Co-op County Ground in recent years, excellent work from the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation to place Derbyshire as one of the country’s fastest growing counties for women & girl’s cricket, as well as continued work to ensure better representation at all levels of the game.

Michelle Butler, Her Game Too Derbyshire Ambassador, said: “As an avid fan and player within the Derbyshire cricket community, I am proud to be working with and representing Derbyshire County Cricket Club with Her Game Too Cricket.
“I am passionate about inclusion and hope to be a role model to other women and girls in Derbyshire who want to get involved in watching and playing cricket, and to be able to support Derbyshire to strengthen their offer to women and girls in our county and beyond, who want to attend and support the Falcons”
Derbyshire Head of Marketing & Communications, Tom Skinner, added: “Welcoming more women and girls into our game and making The Central Co-op County Ground a place where everyone can feel comfortable is a priority for us and, by working with Her Game Too, we are taking yet another huge stride forward.
“Cricket in Derbyshire is growing at all levels, with inclusion and representation at the very heart of everything we do, whether that be in the recreational game with the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation, the Club’s Pathway, or the senior Men’s and Women’s teams which represent our county at the highest level.”
