Pre-season schedule confirmed

Derbyshire’s pre-season schedule has been confirmed, with two fixtures planned for the Men’s squad and one for the Women’s side.

Before the 2026 season commences, the Men’s squad travel to Zimbabwe in early March, focussing on red ball preparation for 2026.

The Women’s team will head to the Lake District to spend time together as a squad for team building, around their work commitments.

On returning to the UK, Wayne Madsen’s side travel to Uptonsteel Grace Road from 25-27 March to face Leicestershire, before taking on Leeds/Bradford UCCE at The Central Co-op County Ground from 28-30 March.

Jon Dyson’s Falcons side also face Leicestershire as part of their pre-season preparations, playing the Foxes in a 50-over friendly on Saturday 28 March at Uptonsteel Grace Road.
