England Women fast bowler, Lauren Bell, lifted the 2026 Women’s Premier League trophy with Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Bell claimed 12 wickets and maintained a miserly economy rate of just 5.40 runs-per-over throughout the tournament, including conceding jusy 19 runs in the final as RCB chased down a target of 204 to win their second WPL title in three years.
Fellow England international, Linsey Smith, was also a part of the RCB squad, appearing in three fixtures. The spinner claimed a brilliant five-wicket haul against West Indies at The Central Co-op County Ground last summer.
New Zealand’s Sophie Devine was the MVP and leading wicket-taker in the tournament, while compatriot Amelia Kerr was also in fine form ahead of their fixture against England at Derby this May.
England Women captain, Nat Sciver-Brunt, made history by scoring the first century in WPL history, on her way to 321 runs at an average of 61.40, the most by any overseas player in the tournament.
