Former Derbyshire Men all-rounder, Jonathan Clare, has joined the Falcons Women coaching team as a Consultant ahead of the 2026 season.
Clare took more than 150 wickets and scored over 1,700 runs in first-class cricket, including two centuries, for Derbyshire in a career which saw him appear 135 times for the Club across all formats.
He was a key part of the 2012 County Championship Division Two-winning side, taking 30 wickets at an average of 21.40. He joins fellow promotion winner, Paul Borrington, on Jon Dyson’s staff as a Consultant for the remainder of pre-season training.
The Falcons Women are gearing up for a big summer, after making history in 2025 by competing in Tier Two of the new domestic structure, picking up memorable wins and invaluable experience, which they will take into the new campaign.
