Derbyshire Falcons Women travel to Leicester on Saturday, for a 50-over pre-season friendly against the Foxes (10.30am), before the season begins next month.
Seven new signings feature in the 14-player squad, with Jon Dyson having stregthened the squad’s depth hugely this winter, while captain Adrianna Darlow leads the side again in 2026.
Maria Andrews doesn’t feature, as she’s on international duty with England Women Under 19s, but last season’s Batter of the Year, Lara Shaw, and Bowler of the Year, Rhiannon Knowling-Davies, will both be in action.

You can now claim FREE tickets for all Derbyshire Falcons Women home T20s, as Jon Dyson’s side aim to build on a historic 2025 season and secure a place at Finals Day.
The Falcons narrowly missed out on a place in the first-ever Women’s Vitality Blast knockout stages last season, and they’ll be hoping a strong winter recruitment drive can propel them to the next level.
Supporters can claim free tickets to three Falcons Women home T20s, while the opening fixture against Sussex Sharks is included with all Falcons Men vs Durham double-header tickets.
