Entry Points
Entry points on match days are not turnstile, with stewards independently scanning tickets and searching bags in open spaces, which are perfect for wheelchair users and those with assistance dogs.
The cricket ground is fully accessible, featuring handrails for added support, flat surfaces for easy navigation, and lifts/ ramps to ensure smooth access to all visitors, including those with mobility challenges.
Supporters can take advantage of a variety of viewing areas at The Central Co-op County Ground, with the majority easily accessible via level paths and grassed areas.
This includes much of the perimeter boundary fencing in front of the main Seat Unique Falcons Stand, as well as the Grandstand.
Supporters can reserve designated accessible viewing areas (photographed below) for Vitality Blast matches.
The numbered accessible viewing bays are located on the Grandstand and in front of the main Falcons Stand. To book an accessible viewing bay, which can be reserved alongside a match ticket for a T20 fixture in Derby, please email [email protected], or call 01332 388 101.
Accessible Toilets are located on the ground floor of the Pavilion, close to the accessible parking bays, and within the Elite Performance Centre, close to the Grandstand. These can be accessed using a RADAR Key. If you do not hold a RADAR Key, please speak to the nearest steward in yellow or supervisor in orange, who will be happy to assist.
In 2023, the Club opened a state-of-the-art Changing Places toilet, and additional disabled toilet, at the back of the Main Stand.
The Club has introduced two new Hearing Loops at The Central Co-op County Ground – one in Main Reception and the other in the Members’ Lounge, with the aim of improving our communication with hard-of-hearing spectators and visitors. Please look out for the Hearing Loop sign on your visit.
Dogs
Although we only permit dogs on County Championship and One Day Cup games, please be aware this does not include guide dogs. Guide dogs are welcome and permitted for every match and event, ensuring full access for individuals with visual impairments
Sensory Room
Book our Sensory Room, in partnership with The Whistle Foundation, now for your upcoming visit to The Central Co-op County Ground.
The room, located on the ground floor Pavilion, will provide a safe space for supporters with sensory issues and is now available to be pre-booked by filling in the form below.
Derbyshire have consulted with charities, as well as other industry-leading sports clubs, when designing and installing the Sensory Room, with several fibre-optic light fittings, 3D wall features, soft seating and more included.
There will be a capacity of four people, accompanied by a carer, at any time, to ensure the room remains a calm and enjoyable space for those who need it. While there is no time limit on bookings, time slots may be apportioned for games with more bookings, to ensure all bookings can be facilitated.
To book the Sensory Room, you must have already purchased a match or event ticket. The facility will be available to those who have not pre-booked, subject to pre-bookings, capacity and the Sensory Room Policy.
For more information about the Sensory Room, or any further accessibility queries, please email [email protected].
The multi-Faith Room, which is based on the ground floor of the Monarch Security Business and Media Centre, will be available to use during matchdays (please see number 5 on the Ground Map above). This is a place that includes: Prayer Rooms, Shoe Storage and Foot Wash Basins. If you need help finding these facilities, please speak to a steward who will be happy to direct you
Please note, the above information relates to The Central Co-op County Ground, Derby only. For the annual BRM Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, please consult the Matchday Guide ahead of the fixtures, or email [email protected] with your query.
We are constantly striving to improve our facilities for all. If you require any further information, or have suggestions for how the Club can develop its accessibility facilities, please contact our dedicated Ticket Office team, via [email protected], or by calling 01332 388 101.
