Aneurin Donald

Derbyshire signed wicketkeeper-batter, Nye Donald, on a two-year deal from Hampshire at the end of the 2023 season.

Since signing for the Club, Donald has been a revelation at the top of the order for the Falcons, amassing 807 runs and nine half-centuries.

At Queen’s Park in July 2025, Donald equalled a UK record fastest fifty in T20 cricket, reaching the milestone off just 13 balls. His strike-rate during the campaign was 216.90 – the highest across all batters in the competition – as well as hitting the most sixes in the tournament with 30.
