Derbyshire signed all-rounder, Martin Andersson, on a two-year contract from Middlesex, ahead of the 2025 season.

Andersson, 27, has scored more than 2,000 runs and claimed over 110 career wickets across all-formats, including best figures of 4-25 in first-class cricket.

With the bat, Andersson was the leading run-scorer for Middlesex in their Vitality Blast campaign, accumulating 282 runs across 11 innings, including two half-centuries.

He will re-join Derbyshire, where he enjoyed a short loan spell in 2018, ahead of the 2025 season and becomes the Club’s first addition for the winter.

He had a brief loan spell with the Club in 2024, where he claimed five wickets at an average of 18.80.
