Wicketkeeper and right-handed batter Matilda Atherton-Gater has signed for Derbyshire from Staffordshire ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Gater adds athleticism behind the stumps and further strength to the Falcons’ batting options as she steps up into tier 2 cricket.
