The Incora County Ground will host an Under 19s Test Match between England and Sri Lanka, starting on Sunday 28 August.
The Young Lions come into the series fresh from reaching the ICC Under 19s World Cup final, winning every game before their eventual defeat to India earlier this month.
England’s most recent series on home soil was a hugely impressive 4-1 ODI series win over the West Indies, with Derbyshire Assistant Coach (Bowling Lead), Ajmal Shahzad, working with the young quicks throughout.
The four-day fixture adds to a huge summer of international cricket in Derby, with England Women set to play two Twenty20 fixtures against South Africa and India later this year.
Entry and ticket information for the Test Match to follow in due course.
