Masood called-up to Pakistan Test squad

Derbyshire opener, Shan Masood, has been called-up to the Pakistan squad for their upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka. 

Masood, who has scored 991 first-class runs for Derbyshire already this season, is expected to remain with the Club for the Vitality Blast group stages, subject to Pakistan Cricket Board confirmation, and join up with the Pakistan squad ahead of the series, which begins on Saturday 16 July at Galle.

The left-handed batter has four Test centuries to his name and will be aiming to force his way back into the international starting XI after his hugely impressive spell with the Club.

Masood will return to Derbyshire upon the conclusion of the series, ahead of the Royal London Cup and final three LV= County Championship fixtures.
