Derbyshire Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach, James Bell, gives an overview of the squad’s training schedule before Christmas, as they prepare for the new season.
Like Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, Bell is preparing for his first full pre-season with the squad and will welcome the players back for fitness testing from Wednesday.
New signings, Matt Lamb & Zak Chappell, will also join up with the squad this week having signed from Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire respectively, with Bell looking forward to working with the duo.
Bell outlines what Derbyshire’s training schedule will look like until the end of the year, the work being done with players abroad and how new players will be integrated into the squad.
