Mickey Arthur contract extension
If you had told me in March 2020 that we would come through the pandemic financially, I would have taken that. We made some really tough decisions to get us through, we had a lot of fantastic support from Members, sponsors, the ECB and we utilised the government support available to us.
However, during that period, our cricket wasn’t anywhere near where we wanted it to be, so while we were in a good place financially, I think everyone would agree that our cricket wasn’t in great shape.
“Thankfully, we showed some positive improvements in 2022, with the appointment of Mickey and the application of what was essentially the same squad. There were brilliant individual perofrmances throughout the season and it was pleasing to see that progress.
