Derbyshire’s Second XI fixture schedule for the 2023 season has been confirmed.
The 2023 Second XI Championship campaign begins with an away game against Middlesex, starting on Monday 10 April, while Derbyshire’s home fixtures in the competition will be played at Queen’s Park, Belper Meadows and Repton School.
The Second XI T20 begins with a double-header against Nottinghamshire at The Incora County Ground on Tuesday 16 May, with home games against Leicestershire (Derby), Durham (Belper Meadows) and Yorkshire (Duffield) to follow.
The Second XI, led by Second XI Coach and Head of Analytics, Chris Highton, along with Support Coach and Analyst, Alex Hughes, will be aiming to foster a winning mentality within the squad, while providing a solid platform for players to gain experience before they step up to the first team.
