Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, is excited to see the Derbyshire squad in competitive action, as they prepare for pre-season friendlies against Nottinghamshire, Lancashire and Durham UCCE.
Having enjoyed an intense week of outdoor training at Desert Springs, as part of the pre-season training camp, in parternship with Briggs of Burton, the squad will play their first match of pre-season at Trent Bridge in a two-day behind closed doors fixture, starting on Thursday.
Arthur sat down with Club Media for an exclusive look ahead to the 2023 pre-season campaign, while also giving an update on Pakistan batter, Haider Ali, who will join up with the squad prior to the fixture against Durham UCCE on Saturday 1 April.
