Batting Consultant, Ian Bell, gives his thoughts on the pre-season training camp, in partnership with Briggs of Burton, so far and looks ahead to the new season.Â
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Bell will remain with Derbyshire for the 2023 season, having more availabity as Mickey Arthur’s side target success across the formats.
Bell oversaw an impressive season with the bat, as six players passed 1,000 all formats runs, while Anuj Dal fell narrowly short of being a record-equalling seventh batter to do so.
The former England international spoke exclusively to Club media from Spain, where he praised the squad’s intensity at Desert Springs and outlined the expectations for the 2023 campaign.
