Derbyshire’s pre-season friendly with Lancashire, due to start on Tuesday 28 March, has been cancelled.
Heavy rain throughout March has led to an excessively wet outfield at The Incora County Ground, limiting the work of the Groundstaff to prepare the playing surface.
As such, the decision has been taken to cancel the friendly against Lancashire to give the outfield the best possible preparation time ahead of the 2023 season.
