Chevin Homes reaffirms commitment to junior cricket in Derbyshire

Derby-based firm of Housebuilders, Chevin Homes, have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the development of junior cricket across the county.

A long-standing sponsor of Derbyshire County Cricket Club, Chevin Homes will continue their prominent front-of-shirt branding on all match kit worn by the Cricket Derbyshire Academy Boys Pathway groups, from Under 11s to Under 17s, covering six squads in total.

In addition to supporting opportunities for young cricketers, Chevin Homes become a member of Derbyshire’s successful 1870 Business Club, which is a network for the Club’s Sponsors and Partners to meet and make new contacts, whilst first-class cricket is played in the backdrop.

Commercial Manager, Jimmy Drew, said: “Chevin Homes provide crucial support to our Pathway, as we aim to develop young local players to represent Derbyshire in the future.

“We’re thankful for their long association with our Club and their support of junior cricket within Derbyshire shows their commitment to building foundations in all of their professional ventures.”

John Fearnehough, Director of Chevin Homes, said: “Chevin Homes are keen supporters of cricket in Derbyshire and pleased lend our support to the junior pathway in addition to our sponsorship of Womens softball and the Access to Cricket scheme via the cricket foundation.”
