Derbyshire have signed Warwickshire seamer, Henry Brookes, on loan for the next two rounds of the LV= County Championship.
Brookes, 23, was a key member of the Warwickshire side which won the County Championship Division Two in 2018, claiming 21 wickets at an average of 22.38.
The young quick has taken more than 130 wickets across all formats in his career, with 73 of those coming in first-class cricket.
He will be available for Derbyshire’s upcoming first-class fixtures against Leicestershire and Gloucestershire at The Incora County Ground.
Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, said: “Henry is an impressive young player and has experience of success in the Championship, he will compliment our group well in the next two home games.
“We needed to bolster our seam attack, with Anuj Dal out and Suranga Lakmal building towards full fitness, and he will bring added quality to our group.”
