Academy all-rounder, Harry Moore, has been selected by England Under 19s for a five-match One Day International series against Australia, starting this weekend.
The 16-year-old, who became Derbyshire’s youngest-ever debutant during this month’s Metro Bank One Day Cup, impressed for a Young Lions XI earlier this week and will join-up with the England Under 19s in Beckenham ahead of the series opener on Saturday (10.30am).
Derbyshire’s Head of Talent Pathway, Daryn Smit, will continue to support the U19s Head Coach, Michael Yardy, throughout the series, which will see some of the brightest young talent from England and Australia go head-to-head at the end of what has been an enthralling Ashes summer.
